Sinful Shame

Sinful Shame

The truth hurts, so they say, who is to blame

It is a sinful shame, not to be you, not to let go, not to be perfect

But when you do, no one really listens, no one really cares

Only what they want to hear, that is what matters to the media

The tabloids, the radio, the television, computers, even your phone

What has happened to privacy, to loyalty, to the ones that mean the most

Sinful shame, everyone's to blame, let there be a private note for silence
