Poem -

Smoke and Silver

Mummy warned me of pretty boys
With sad blue eyes;
Who smelled of smoke
& spoke like silver rolled off their tongues.
What she didn’t say though,
Was that they left you childlike.
She didn’t mention the nightmares,
The cold feeling of winter
Or the hollowness they brought to your bones.
Mum warned me of pretty boys with broken souls,
They only become the catalyst in your unravelling,
Your demise.

Mother knows best, Listen to you mumsie,
Its a scary world out there,
mother knows best,
and you'd better, dear, believe me,
they'll eat you up ALIVE!

-Sorry, Had to do that.
Anyway, there are nice guys too, those that can make your life warmer and brighter. Look for someone who brings a little sunshine in to your life.

And if that doesn't work, sometimes love is the best way to fix a broken soul. Find your way back together and the like.

Loved the Poem!
