Stop Pretending

Stop Pretending

To love me, to need me, to touch me, to have me, to loathe me

Stop pretending, and just take me! Take me in your arms and love me

Set me on a pedestal so tall, look up at me and admire, paint me in the nude

Just let your heart leap out, into a wonderland, where you will find us falling into the rabbit holes

Of time, money, fantasy, and fun, flirting with everlasting passion, stop pretending

That you don't want me, because I know you do!

Just stop pretending
