Storm In Shade
In Shade where secrets lie and natural justice rules.
The goddess surveys.
The mountains hide the secrets of the wolves.
Under thunder skies, his devil eyes take me where I should not go. Cinereous clouds will win.
Flashes strike, dominating the sky, except when the moon is high.
Tonight the wolves will sin.
Rain falls down like sleet, glittering with Zeus' tears of gold at their padded feet.
Thunder sounds over the townsmen sleeping in their homes when the wolves creep in.
I am her body, I am her skin but my soul lies within.
I am Artemis drawing her bow as the tug of war begins.
Existing between the earth and the rain. I'm a night owl on the prowl for predators of prey.
He is the sun on a winters day.
He is howling my name.
As Shade descends into the netherworld, its tranquillising. Running through our veins.
I follow him.
Leadership of the goddess is given it isn't taken but I abdicate, to be a slave.
The seraphic hypnotism of his wolfish eyes cannot be denied. It's too much to take.
Weakening to an infection not yet injected.
The arrow is miss aimed. I'm a victim that I will not save.
Turn me into perfection. I want to stay. Make me like you. My bed is made.
Devour my heart.
Have another part. I like the way it hurts.
Burn me up in flames.
