Stupid Dog

Stupid Dog

Stupid dog they say of me, who barks at birds up in the tree who chases cars and scares the cat what use is there for a dog like that.

Muddy paws on bedroom floor and scratches on the kitchen door, clumps of fir upon the mat we have no need for a dog like that.

But when your sad i lift your mood i clean the childrens face of food. A wagging tail will greet you home a loveing friend when others moan.

When monsters lie under your bed and devils dance inside your head with just a word i will be there for i am here to scare the scares.

I am a stupid dog its true but all i am i give to you and all i know i swear by my paws, that you are mine and i am yours!
