I remember days gone by,
walking together, her and I,
crossing roads,
dodging cars,
Finding cloudshapes,
seeing stars,
where she was, I strove to be,
what was her,
came to be me,
What I am,
Best described,
what she was,
before she died,
love and caring,
true and tried,
kindness unending,
exemplified,
I was her,
and she was mine,
Where I was starlight,
she was sunshine.
