To Taste You

To Taste You

Sweetness from the clover, juice from the nectar of a peach

Your skin is ravishing, your eyes, bright, with a fire fly glow

Long, black raven hair, the smell of a scented flower garden

Of lavenders, lilacs, and lilies, swaying in the breeze, in every path

To taste you, to linger, in awe,  your moist full lips, I dare to kiss

The tears that fall, I catch them, they ripple in the waters waves

Your feet so beautiful, each toe perfect in place, let me walk with you

Let me talk to you, in our native tongue, while my heart pumps in rythym

My song belongs to you, my drum will join the flute, and we shall play

The taste of cinnamon and sugar, on your hands, from baking bread

The goats milk pours over my chest, while you taste me, I taste you

With all my breath, my lungs breathe for you, wanting your love, because I trust you
