THE BEE

THE BEE

A bee came stumbling, bumbling
It nearly flew right in my face
It couldn't fly a straight line
In it's dreadful state of disgrace
It tarried too long at the nectar
But before it staggered away
I could have sworn, it tipped it's hat
And slurred; Have a lovely day

I love the occasional lighthearted piece, as so often there are  really serious and heartbreaking pieces written- this was a little ray of sunshine and made me smile- thank you for that!!
