THE COAT STAND AND THE CHAIR

I'm a coat stand and you'reĀ a chair
I get put on you get sat on does anyone care
It's not easy who we are that's for sure
Much easier being a carpet or revolving door

Put your coat on me I will take the strain
My worse nightmare when it starts to rain
Sit on me I'm just a chair to you
It's like your bottom is made of glue

We are part of the furniture and will always be around
Always remain silent without making a sound
One day though we will get our just reward
In the attic forgotten about hidden and stored
