The Lass in the Hotel Bedroom

The Lass in the Hotel Bedroom

The lass in the hotel room stood doing her hair.

She wore a cowboy shirt but no underwear.

She was really pretty,

She was really sweet

Standing with bare bottom, bare legs and feet.

She had one hand on her head as in the mirror she looked

In the luxury hotel room which she had booked.

She'd left the bedroom door open as we walked by;

She must have known guests could see in

But seemed not to mind.

Her dark blonde tinted hair had a golden hue.

She stood with her back towards us,

Her legs and buttocks in view.

We knew not where she was from

Nor who she might be,

But she amused and intrigued us

Standing there daintily

Fixing her hair

With hair tongs in her hand

Facing the mirror

Above the nightstand.

(With thanks to the young lady shown for letting me use the snap, captured by her sister).

Hi, glad you like the poem.

Interesting you should use the word "teasing."   One definition of "teasing" is to "gently pull or comb (tangled wool, hair, etc.) into separate strands", which is what she's doing in the photograph.

A composition that depicts a moment of intimacy exposed to the prying eyes of the readers, and while the girl's room comb peacefully in front of the mirror illuminate the fantasies of the author.

A greeting, the poem is ideal for a Sunday morning
