Poem -
the 'love bug'
I thought I learnt a lot
from the ‘classroom’
I attended.
Spare time caught me doing
what I ought not
dare it may
offend them.
But you were what I’d never had
and what I dearly
wanted.
The ‘love bug’ bit me bad that day –
and every day –
beyond it.
