Poem -

The Old Man

He once was a rugged handsome lad, all the girls wanted to be around
Though he was timid around the women, and chose to hang out with the boys
One day a guy kissed him so gently as they were reading a story
Then he realized this was his true interest
Though he grew up in a family of traditions he didn't want to disappoint them
He married his first love from high school and they had two children later on
Though torn in torment with his feelings he kept a secret deep inside
He really loved his best friend and later would tell it true
For his best friend was George and it was not told
Until they were very old and
he became an old man
Telling a story of truth
