The Rain & I

The Rain & I

Sitting at the park a troubled soul,
I looked up the sky and a friendly sun smiled at me
oh! how I enjoyed the melodious songs the birds sang
they were soothing !

suddenly, the friendly sun appeared to have gone on vacation
as dark clouds showed their ugly faces
the trees danced, swaying their branches to the music of the wind
the thunder clapped angrily
and the sky appeared to be weeping!

I joined the sky in her sorrows
as tears mingled with the rain
The rain washed the dirt on my skin
Oh! I wish it would wash beyond my skin
and wash my troubled soul!

After a while, the friendly sun appeared grinning from ear to ear
I was drenched by the rain
but still  a troubled soul!

Hi My Sweet Rose,

The rains that inundate us, can never wash away the pain in our soul.  Never trust the sun, for basking in its warmth, it can instantly bring the darkened clouds of deep depression.  We all need that waterproof umbrella that is the protector of our soul.

Peace and Love,

xox Larry
