The Scabbed Winged Angels

Be weary of the scarred angels
For what were once made of beauty and perfection
Are now scabbed over with corruption and oppression
Shedding their skin in order to molt to the world
Becoming parasites that feed off the blood of the innocent
Congregating into masses that defile benevolence
They're societies crippling tourniquets
And like a mad case of gangrene
They'll spoil whatever's pure
Tearing humanity away like that of the virgin stitch
