The Suitcase

The Suitcase

Stylish,well presented
I headed out of the door
Down the slope I glided
You couldn’t ask for more

I was bright as parrots plumage
My look effortless, devine
I thought I had it sorted
Then a voice shouts “Oi, thats mine”

Oh no, my plan has failed me
It wasn’t meant to be
I’m supposed to have the nicest things
Piled inside of me

Instead I got old work boots
Smelly socks and underpants
No ladies pretty blouses
Or things of elegance

I thought my change had happened
That I would be so swell
When picked up by the lady
At the baggage carousel
