To make you love me

I can't make you love me
i can't make you see the parts of me that I want you to see
i can't force your heart to allow me in and see you inside out
i can't force you to show interest in me
these are all actions I have previously attempted and failed at
what I need to do is,
allow you to see me for me
for my imperfections
for all my right and wrong doings 
I have to allow you to see me for me
and just hope and pray that I am enough 
that I am worthy of those breathtaking green eyes
and that smile and those lips and all the parts of you 
if I am enough, then it was meant to be 

if not, I have to accept that I cannot make you love me

even if I love you.
