Unfurled

Unfurled

Into the world of
willows weeping
I wander

wondering

when or where
I will smell the
salt air

exclaiming;

so long to bewildering
scenes of why

declaring;

yes, we share our
lover’s cry

and under those willows
we can be seen

gazing and sharing
and caring and being

as my gaze meets
yours in a wilful world

our hands caress
in a life unfurled
