THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLDS

The weight of many a world unfurls
upon the hands of a man, withheld.
Atop his mighty, fleshy palms
a cluster of lines would map those qualms.
Indecision's of fortitude
were clearly tainted, painted, imbrued.
Ā This liability in fingerprint
held in succession, markings succinct.
Thus he set the earth,
Ā to sail aloof
left with evidential proof
Scarred in delay
burdened by wait
the weight of his many worlds, gave quake.
The release of the earth
brought an onset of dearth
concerning the past,
of the present,
rebirth.
For his future was doubted by deluge
regression was cast, eclipsing his refuge
Upon the equator he awaits anxiety
watching.....
as one of his worlds drifts by,
aimlessly,
hopelessly,
he buries the guilt
which has endlessly
and eternally spilt
across those hands, of the lands,
where he lies,
eternally living
Ā in an ocean he cries.
