WHICH WAY TO THE PARK ?

Writing about something that you don't often see
When you read this I'm sure you will agree
Happened the other day while I was in town
A man was walking a monkey in his dressing gown

He stopped me asked for directions to the park
Introduced himself formally and his name was Mark
I told him the direction on which way he should go
Why a dressing gown and monkey I really don't know

Mark thanked me kindly and made a left turn
The park a good walk he was about to learn
Would get enquiring looks I'm sure along the way
You don't see the likes of Mark in town everyday
