Wild Spirits Love

As the silver fox wanders into the woods, the leaves begin to take shape, as winter ends
The snow melts, and moistens the roots of the locust trees, the wolf follows the trail
Thirsty for the break of day, the smell of budding trees, and the cool breeze upon his back
The forest fills up with birds singing, the tree limbs crack, and pop, of new growth
The earth, is moving, as the seedlings from the fall, begin to breathe, to live, they're rooting
Wild spirits love, in spring, the waters awaken, the streams start to trickle and flow
The rabbits begin their mating, the squirrels come out to play once again, it is love
In the air, spring has found its peace, as the fields of native spirits fly into the blue sky
I can feel the kiss of the morning air, the Cherokee chief is chanting his song in spirit
Let them rise, and the wild horses gallop to the valley's in pride, where we first met
My blood churns for your love, and the womb of your young, I want to play this song
Wild spirits love, in every cavern of the highest rock, every water, a reflection of you
My heart now, again, it is speaking to the new dawn, of a new love with you
Forever, in the wild spirits love, of our native tongue
It speaks to us in spirit
