SHADOW PLAY ..
APRIL LYRICS
A heavy shadow once, fear clung close,
stifling my breath.
But I carved a path through the inky depths,
emerging into a dawn, bathed in light.
Now, quiet hours offer introspection,
my thoughts a steady guiding light.
Solitude, not a burden, but a sanctuary found,
where threads of love weave a tapestry bright.
Life unfurls, a vibrant canvas,
joy dancing with the fading light.
Friendship, a warm and constant ember,
no longer a solitary boy, but a man reborn.
Self-love, a wellspring within, I hold it close,
a haven for emotions to unfurl.
My mind, a boundless expanse, finally free,
the chains of fear shattered, a memory.
