Poem -

Wounded

Will the wolf that rescued me

Turn like the sea?

You said nothing worth having comes easily...

But what you said could have been about you and me.

I want to see your eyes fade to blue.

Instead of that electric green hue.

A creature like you needed to be free.

I let you go, but you didn't come back to me.

I've seen guys but they didn't have your eyes.

All's fair in love and war.

She won the battle but I'll settle the score.
