I have a wonderful new Alarm clock,
That wakes me in the morn.

This clock does not ring,...

I know why the cage bird sings.

It sings because it's the closest thing to flight ;

Deep breath,

crisp, cleansing, and fair,

five-o-clock morning air.

As the moon...

Sun hiding, cowering cowardly,

Behind clouds drawn curtain-like

Across sky, waiting for...

Swilililipping, skipilipping ceased,

The shrill call of the newly hatched,
Empty eggshells soon despatced.
Busy busy parent birds...
