Frolic to solstice beat

amethyst yellow

Filled to overflow
with the
silhouettes...

Majestic goddess of snow
Thwart murky loch’s flow
Dust snow upon vast land
Ice stills...

Selene lunar alight
Fireflies take flight
Neath starry festoon
Embrace lambent moon...

surrounded by green
conifers swaying with ease
as snow kisses them

Bitter cold she'll blow.
Too frigid for snow
Frozen tis heart of ice
Stilled waters...

Days like these,
They put me at ease.
With frosted windows,
I do as I please.
