Uncle

Memory

Uncle

A thirst for life finally quenched
The laughters stilled to silenceΒ
A room filled with remnants of memoryΒ
Your face appears sometimes in a fragmented glance towards strangers.
The table now host to emptiness.
An abundance of joy once filled those seats
Leaving a still echo lingeringΒ
staring back with a bygone smile.
