Clothes Shopping with Women is so Boring

We're out shopping,
My mum, her friend and I
(Her son).
When they gravitate towards
And into a
Smallish clothes shop
To see if they can buy
A new jumper or skirt
A Saturday afternoon
When I'm not at work.
"I'm not sure of the colour"
"I don't know if it will fit"
"Do you like this"
"It's overpriced"
"Well a bit".
Moving on, it's more
Of the same
For me as a man
It's a tedious pain.
Watching undecided women
Who won't buy anything.
We go to leave.
They spot the selection
Of handbags
"They're too small for me,
My goodness! I'm not paying that".
"But it's so and so's birthday
In a few weeks time.
She was looking for a handbag
A bit like mine".
"Oh look at those shirts..."
I say I'll wait outside
And join the group of
Bored looking men
Whom like me have
Been dragged into this again.
A few are smoking cigarettesÂ
There's the occasional scratch
Of a crotchÂ
Leaning against the wall
A periodic glance
At a watch.

Thank you. It's a story I've had in mind for a while.
