Poem -

For fans of the red hot chilli peppers

I was in the supermarket,
don't usually go to this one
so I didn't know the layout,
had to go down every aisle;
check every shelf,
making sure that I did not miss any bargains.
eventually my basket was full,
mostly of fresh fruit and vegetables,
only the red hot chilli peppers were unpriced,
so I asked the attendant how much they were,
he replied £6.80 a kilo,
I said "how much is it for what I've got ?"
the answer was "I'll give it a weigh, give it a weigh now."
