Forever
Upon your lips I set a kiss
And with this kiss, as light as a feather,Β
There comes a certain sorcery
And I am yours, forever.Β
You hold me close and I look in your eyes,Β
Through the windows of your soul,Β
Where I glimpse a glorious avenue
To a love that makes us whole.Β
Together, lying in each others arms,Β
I feel the pounding of our hearts
And the excitement of a love
That will never fall apart.Β
Just like a wild and rising tide,Β
This sorcery fills me with such desire
That my body tingles deliciously.Β
I take you high, you take me higher.Β
We are two souls away on an island
In the ocean of ecstasy together,Β
For you are mine and I am yours,Β
Forever.Β

Hi Syd!Β I am honoured you like this that much ?. Wow ??. But seriously now, only two? The talented poet you are and you have only written two?Β Your wife definitely needs more poetry... If she likes poetry that is, not everyone does. You need to pay a visit to the "Poets Store"Β (3rd left street on the right where the sun sinks but never sets) and purchase some of their special ink that is made from drops of blood got from a stone.. the ink makers who supply Hogwarts make it through lessons learned in a study called Apologies... (sorry J. K). It is extremely expensive but I am told it is worth it. I can't personally vouch for it though as I have never found the shop. Your wife needs to be seriously and poetically indulged.

A great write Tina so much expressive empathy shared and neatly written.

You grab the reader and they are swept along and their feet don't touch the ground.
