GREEN QUEEN
The Earth, a mother, whispers low,
Her breath grows ragged, skies aglow,
With feverish heat, a scorching sun,
The wounds we dealt, the damage done.
Once emerald fields now cracked and dry,
The rivers weep, a mournful cry.
The air we breathe, a choking haze,
A symphony of life that strays.
But hope remains, a seed to sow,
In fertile ground where forests grow.
With gentle hands, a sapling was placed,
A verdant promise, love embraced.
Each tree that thrives, a breath so deep,
The air we cleanse, a promise to keep.
The cooling shade, a sweet relief,
A habitat for creatures brief.
The rain they bring, a gentle kiss,
The land replenished, a fertile bliss.
The soil enriched, a vibrant hue,
A vibrant tapestry, born anew.
So let us mend, with hearts sincere,
Plant hope and life, for all to share.
For Mother Earth, with grateful hand,
We heal her wounds, across the land.
For in her heart, where roots run deep,
A future blooms, a promise to keep.
