Poem -
Hold on
I do not build myself up,Â
I tear myself down,
I wonder why,
I can’t ever be proud.
I’ve come so far,
But much stands in my way,
I look in the mirror,
And find a few words to say.
Girl you are amazing,
And you need to stop,
Breaking yourself down,
To come out on top.
You are beautiful,
The way that you were made,
No one can tell you,
To take that away.
Because of all the hurt,
It has made you unique,
And one day you’ll find,
People will listen when you speak.
It won’t be long,
Before you find your peace,
You just have to hold on,
Before you press the release.

Awww thanks for the kind words Shaikyrra, it really means so much, but yes that is very true. It has somthing to do with the media and culture as a whole, not that I'm one to talk politics lol.
