Ignition

The car cranks up with that old motorized mechanical sound. The Ignition starts the fight again. She's going away. She's says "it's just for a day" " I can wait" is all he'd ever say. Ignition rips my heart , I watch from my room as my past drives away. It started months ago , hey who could've known? That a person who had dreamed of only having peace , would cause such misery? Ignition drives right off , but always came back home. Leaves for but a day , hey who ever knows ? Ignition left us here . He says "child there's nothing to fear"
