Poem -

Never To Live Never to Die

While I lay here in this wooden box a corpse
with dreadful hair and nails that only a monster should have
My blood is almost frozen now as my heart is no longer beating
though my brain seems to not want to die
I keep thinking of escaping from this maddening darkness
Now buried in a mummy suit which doesn’t fit me well at all
the moon is full and my powers have returned as the wolf calls my name
For my curse is not to die but to live
I shall find my bride and we shall walk this path into a living hell
Where spiders lust to form their webs and the dust of ragged
bandage unwraps who we really are
Immortal!
