One Day At A Time

To feel the warmth of the sun on my face
To feel the wet of the rain on my barefeet
To smell the lavender lilacs in the spring
To hold a tiny lady bug in my hand and watch it fly away
To walk the beaches sand in the brisk of the evening
Along the sands waves of tide the voice of a spirit
Luring me in as I dream of love and life and death
One day at a time , the mermaid shall sing across the sea of passion, and all my worries shall float away with the tide
Bye and bye one day at a time As I watch for her silverlined tail fins with a pearlized lumination in my mind
I feel that one day I shall become a creature of the sea as my ashes will spread in death
And i shall materialize in a different form in spirits depth 
Of eternal days which lay in my future ahead
