Petrified By Passion

My life has been many things, many colors and filled with passion
Beautiful and wonderful like a butterfly in flight
My love has been the same but it has changed over time
Solid like a rock then broken like a delicate plate of porcelain
Just as the wine in my glass so perfect but it doesn’t last 
It doesn’t win the fight, the fight to win one’s love forever 
To know that my heart filled with life’s passion and loves pleasure
Will end in time, that I shall be petrified in time
So that I shall never feel another as I feel with you
My lust for your touch shall become my portrait of an empty
bottle that ran out of perfect wine 
Now turned to stone, I in my vase of purple passion for you
Where we shall be frozen solid together in my heart I  hold my naked breasts, forever in love
Never to end  this passion as these memories forever a treasure
