REVISIT ME

REVISIT ME

Revisit me....
Like it used to be
When you were my man
And love came naturally

Tonight..I'm alone
Thinking of you
I miss making love
And the fucking part too.....

And when you beckoned meĀ
From across the room
I knew that explosion
Was to happen.... soon....

Your index finger
Curled with seduction
I was swiftly embraced
By your suave corruption.....

Then in your arms...I'd melt
Compared to nothing I've ever felt
All my senses affixed on you
I recall tears of ecstasy too.....

Your touch was like no other
The softer....the better...
Knowing it made me shudder.

Then under that moon...
Every night...
Your magic carpet took us on a flight.

I never wanted to land
But with a gift like yours
Where did I stand?

I had to take shelter
For my wings were young
I wanted to sing
And not think our song sung...

Just as the moth enters her cocoon
I knew when I left....
A butterfly would bloom....
You gave me a life so easily consumed
But a moths life is short....
Bound for doom...

You made me a woman
A beauty with wings
And now thanks to you...
This butterfly singsĀ
