The Bee's Knees

The Bee's Knees

There was a bee who never flew
His wing just never ever grew
He was so very sad
Walking he was mad
One day he would fly he knew

Not today though stuck in gum
No hero's around he felt dumb
He blew a bubble
Now in trouble
As wind blew he held out his thumb

For the first time he took flight
All through the day and night
He can't stop
Until it pop
He tried and tried with his might

Floating around forever it seem
Wondering why the gum was mean
He cried out aloud
I'm sick of clouds
Asleep the ground he would dream

Finally he stuck to a tree
My hero you rescued me
Filled with excite
he's not a kite
On his legs he quickly flee
