Poem -

The Wages of Sin

Sadness
Pervasive in the gloom
Un challenged I believe
The fertile ground darkness finds
Begins it's birth in my own mind
Destruction has its own sense of beauty
When done in purity
Light can bring pain when it shows the truth
Love is not always rainbows and puppies
It is sacrifice and cataclysm
It is an atomic bomb to error and a god of righteousness even in death
No exscuses with the angel of unconditional love
There is seldom a reprieve for inequity
The abominations of the reckless and foolhardy
Translate to traditions of generational curses
The sins of the the father's must be atoned
No one escapes the wages of sin
Unless redemption is found
