Thunder From The Mountains

Purple mountains shaken by the grey sky
Moving rapids over the rivers bed
Sounding out a cry of the spirits for peace within our village
Drowning the shame of pools of bloodshed
Spears of rain fall to the hearts of men and women
Lightening and thunder through the echo of the wounded
Drums pound in sorrow of the arrow never found
Dance to the spirit of survival as the mountains protect
The wolfs face in the rolling sky, howling winds of courage
