Why her?

My screams echoed in her ear 
"NOOOO" my no's got louder and louder yet she played like she didn't hear 
She held me prisoner and locked me in with the rest of her cares 
As she gripped me closer and tighter to her, she smiled relinquishing her lack of fear 

She than began to ease me closer by her side 
She yanked an yanked as if I was her bride 
It was like she thought she had control 
I wasn't me anymore, not my story but hers to be told 

She continued to ease her way into my grip 
I kicked and kicked 
But I could not escape 
My mind scorched like a broken tape 
It replays over and over an over again 
And endless cycle lingering around the bend 

It was always her 
I couldn't escape that reality 
No more fairy tale happy ever after ending 
Because there was no escaping 
She was on the attack at each and every corner that I turned 
Nothing but a raging fire that burned 

The scars still fresh 
Yet she cut an cut "was this some type of test" 
How much can she bleed 
Maybe her scream would decrease one cut, two cut three

My scars were now undeniable 
She was suppose to be there my reliable 
So why are the flames of the fire brewing brighter ?
I thought I had survived, I was a fighter 
But this took me captive 
She came faster than the speed of lightening a pain so rapid
