William Shakespeare on pubwatch

William Shakespeare on pubwatch

Pubwatch is a scheme operated by landlords,
it is countrywide and if anyone gets barred from a pub
then they are automatically banned from every bar in the area,
one day I was in my local ,
the jolly roger;  it was run by John and Kate,
all of the regulars were there;
when Shakespeare walked in,
he hesitated then approached Kate,
asking for some mead,
he had never been here before
but Kate had heard of him through Pubwatch,
the previous week he had been causing trouble in another bar;
so she looked at him disapprovingly
and said,
"sorry I can't serve you, your bard! "
