WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES...

Song of the Bamboo

WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES...

Song of the Bamboo
The wind whispers secrets through hollowed green bones,
A symphony rising where sunlight is shown.
Bamboo stalks swaying, a rhythmic ballet,
Rustling leaves chiming, a gentle display.

No strings nor percussion, yet music takes flight,
A melody woven in morning's soft light.
High notes like whistles, a playful refrain,
Deep bass tones murmur, a calming sustain.

Each hollow a chamber, a breath held within,
Released by the breeze, a harmonious din.
Nature's own orchestra, a chorus so sweet,
Bamboo serenades, a tranquil retreat.
