Woven Dreams

Burnt umber is the color of the clay
Red orange the color of the fire flames
Dusty charcoal the color of the burning wood
Bronze brown the color of your skin as it shines like honey
Black the color of your flowing hair like a ravens wings
Chestnut brown the color of your eyes windows to your soul
Topaz blue the color of the horizon sky
Saphire blue the color of the rivers flow
Deep purple the rock of the mountain tops
Emerald green lay the color of the carpets valley
Ruby red the color of our blood rushing with passion
Tan the bottom of our feet we walk bare
Soft pink the color of her lips and tongue as her nipples breasts arouse me
Red hot as our hearts beat as one
The thunder in our thighs as we lay naked under golden harvest moon
The white of the turkey feathers as we wear and give thanks
Feast upon the earth and know the desire of being
The many colors of the Cherokee woven in our dreams
