the summer sun has gone to rest

HE STARTS BREATHING FAST HIS PULSE IS RACING,
THERE IS NO TURNING BACK FROM WHAT HE IS FACING....

A year ago today the country went into lockdown
Every city every person every town

she snatches at random
particles
stuffs them in clothes
contorting a shape that fills...

In our courtyard small garden of so many flowers
Are the plants in competition with each other?...

I beg of thee let me be
Don't think of me
I've already rejected thee

The world would tell you
That a woman is the symbol of love
