Awakening

I was born and nearly died
Doctors answered when I cried
But it was not a cry, it was a howl...

Though joyousness impaled,
albeit skewered over poker hot coals
courtesy roaring fiery...

Gone is the sun
The light
The mother
The father
The champion of life and beauty...

Though predominantly skeptical
concerning divine intervention...
crushing desperation grinds...

I would never sell my soul for just one price - the poems that I write, the stories I create are far too...

I'll stay until I've taught you all I know...you turned up late!
You should of been here six months...

The trumpet is being readied
For the sounding that will cease humanity
The final bell is...

Eternity elapsed since
childhood's end (mine)
though an auld
lang whooshed soul...

subconscious.
Below the surface
