Dancing With The Devil

The infinite darkness 
At every turn 
I always practice 
But when will I learn 
It doesn’t matter
How many times 
I hold my breath 
The ultimate darkness 
My one true love; death 
He awaits for me
In the shadows 
I walked in too far 
The waters no longer shallow
When we first meet 
He’ll grab my hand 
Take me to our paradise 
Just like we planned 
Our love just grows stronger 
Every time we have a chance to talk 
The desire, the craving  
When our lips lock 
I never have to worry 
About when I’ll see him again
He lives inside us all 
Even our friends 
The tsunamis that dwell 
Inside of my head
Hurricanes and voices 
Wishing me dead 
No longer I fear 
The monsters upstairs 
They keep me company 
When I’m in despair 
The lonely nights 
That are full of doom 
Pearly white smile
To hide all of this gloom
If only they could see 
What lives inside of me
Maybe then they’d know
Why only butterflies show 
Not the cocoon 
Or the caterpillar before 
Not even the raindrops 
Never the storm 
I’m dancing with the devil 
And with the flowers that bloom
I dance with him on my dark days
All his love I consume
