SHATTERED PORTRAIT
Rain chills him, a portrait of woe,
Lost in her absence, a silent flow...

Earth is so wet
Womanly; feminine
Itself is a blossom,
she is loveable, kissable...

In reverence to Earth, Shweta extends
Her hands cradle soil, with gentle demands.
A tiny tree...

Never had I witnessed with my own eyes
real live war until now
a forty-inch flat...

The second time, or thereabouts
we met ..
I was mightily impressed with
the way...

I read with fear

yet I vision such deep beauty

In the land of biscuits and fried chicken fried,
There's a dish that'll make you feel all warm...
