Poem -

The mime, apprentice, old man and shepherd

Once upon a time
In a land far away
Lived a pathetic mime
Whose life was nothing but dismay

He couldn't speak
Through miming, he tried to convey
But everyone thought he was a freak
So he stomped on his beret

There was a girl
A poor apprentice
A true pearl
However, her life wasn't momentous

There was an old man
Rotting away at home
His wife was a hologram
In monochrome

Her batteries died
They were all so alone
Putting that aside
At least they have their anklebones

Unlike the poor shepherd
Who walked with a limp
His bone was snatched by a leopard
The shepherd was an imp

We can pretend
They become best friends
Because I like happy endings
The end
