I swear I saw her on my oak dresser shelf, she was winking...

“Why on earth do do you fear the wind?” Mamma asks her crying child..”

the realization
that I am
a hypocrite

Is a self-reflection
that...

I heard a voice
from a bush
but no fire
came from it

your hoof prints dent the field
while snatching silence from its perch-
you snap a twig in...

Asleep

I slumped beside an old redwood tree
And started to think about my past
This tree has stood...

It happened we know it did,

Pain,
happiness,
Anguish and smiling in vein.
Illness stricken,
